About This Building
Beacher's Lodge is a four-story oceanfront condominium on Crescent Beach, about ten miles south of historic downtown St. Augustine. The building has been a Crescent Beach landmark since 1987 — 132 oceanfront condos plus 10 ocean-view studio suites, each individually owned and individually decorated, all with private balconies or patios overlooking the Atlantic.
Why guests pick Beacher's Lodge
It's actually on the beach. Not across the street, not behind a parking lot — the boardwalk goes from the building straight to the sand. Almost every unit has a direct ocean view from the living room and the balcony.
The building is small enough to feel personal. Four stories, one pool, one boardwalk. You can be on the beach in under a minute from any floor. The building has the feel of a beach cottage community more than a high-rise resort.
The pool is heated year-round. Crescent Beach in February is cooler than people expect; the pool is temperature-controlled so it works in winter too.
Beacher's Lodge is pet-friendly — some units allow pets (pet policy varies by individual owner).
It's close to St. Augustine without being in it. Ten miles south of the historic district, twenty minutes from the Castillo. Far enough to feel like a beach getaway, close enough to spend a day downtown and be back by sunset.
The three floor plans
Beacher's Lodge offers three standard layouts. Studio Suites at about 310 square feet — ocean view rather than direct oceanfront, the most affordable option, open floor plan, kitchenette, sleeps 2 comfortably. Queen Units at about 410 square feet — direct oceanfront one-bedroom condos with separate bedroom, kitchenette, sleeper sofa in the living room, sleeps 4, the most common unit type in the building. King Units at about 610 square feet — larger direct oceanfront one-bedroom condos with the same layout as a Queen but more space, comfortable for longer stays or families, sleeps 4 comfortably.
Every condo has a fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, and the cookware to actually use it. Wi-Fi is free in every unit.

All three are direct oceanfront with private balconies and the full kitchen and amenities you'd expect. Location
Crescent Beach
Crescent Beach is the quiet end of Anastasia Island. Less traffic than St. Augustine Beach proper, a wider stretch of sand, and fewer crowds. Walking and short-drive options include Beachcomber Restaurant just up A1A (local seafood), Crescent Beach Family Restaurant (breakfast and lunch), and South Beach Grill (oceanfront dining). Within five to fifteen minutes you reach the St. Augustine Beach pier, Anastasia State Park, and Fort Matanzas National Monument. The historic district — Castillo de San Marcos, St. George Street, the Lightner Museum — is a 20-minute drive north.
