See Disney, Universal Studios, or any other Orlando area attractions within 2 hours. Get to Busch Gardens or a major concert in Tampa in 3 hours. You can visit Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center, the Ocala National Forest, or visit the state capital and be back in your St. Augustine vacation rental before the sun sets.
