Vilano Beach
Vilano Beach is the barrier-island community immediately north of downtown St. Augustine across the Vilano Bridge. Walking distance from Seawatch puts you at the Vilano Beach Pavilion and pier, the Vilano Beach Town Center, Publix, and several local restaurants. Within five to ten minutes by car you reach historic downtown St. Augustine, the Castillo de San Marcos, St. George Street, the Lightner Museum, and the St. Augustine Lighthouse. The location also makes Vilano a viable base for day trips north to Ponte Vedra (30 min) or the Jacksonville Beaches (45 min), and south to Crescent Beach and St. Augustine Beach (15-20 min).
