The House

Across roughly 1,460 square feet on two levels, the main floor has an open plan that keeps the kitchen, dining area, and living room connected. The fully renovated kitchen is equipped for real cooking, with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and a full set of cookware, dishes, and utensils. The dining area sits right alongside it, and the living room offers comfortable seating, a large flat-screen TV, cable, and Wi-Fi, with a fireplace as the focal point. A half bath on this level keeps things convenient during the day.

The three bedrooms sleep up to six. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and an ensuite bath, and the two additional bedrooms each have a king bed. Two full bathrooms plus the main-level half bath make mornings and after-beach showers easy for a full house. A front-load washer and dryer lets you rinse the sand out of towels and swimsuits instead of overpacking, and the home also includes air conditioning, central heat, linens, towels, an iron and board, and parking.

St. Augustine

St. Augustine sits about six miles north of the townhome and makes an easy day trip from Crescent Beach. The nation's oldest city is built around its history, from the coquina walls of Castillo de San Marcos on the bayfront to the shops, galleries, and restaurants along pedestrian St. George Street. Climb the St. Augustine Lighthouse for views over Anastasia Island, take a boat tour, or simply wander the Flagler-era architecture before heading back to a quieter beach evening.

The Area

Tarpon Run sits on the southern end of Anastasia Island in Crescent Beach, one of the calmer coastal pockets around St. Augustine. The pace here is relaxed and residential: mornings on the sand, an afternoon by the community pool, and short drives when you want restaurants or sightseeing. A beach access is a short walk from the Tarpon Run townhomes.

The southern stretch of the island is also good for the outdoors. Anastasia State Park to the north has dunes, trails, and a long natural beach, while Fort Matanzas and the waters around Matanzas Inlet draw guests for fishing, paddling, and quieter views of the coastline.
