The House

This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with 1100 square feet and space for up to 4 guests. Both bedrooms have king beds, which makes the layout especially comfortable for two couples, a small family, or guests who simply like having a real bed in both rooms. The primary bedroom shares the ocean view, so the best part of the property is not limited to the living room.

The interior has a clean, bright, modern feel, with white walls, glossy floors, recessed lighting, and a simple coastal look that keeps the focus on the view. The living area has a large sectional sofa, a television, and sliding glass doors that open toward the balcony. It feels open without feeling empty, with enough room to relax after the beach or settle in for a quiet evening.

The kitchen is one of the strongest indoor features. It is fully equipped with a range, toaster, microwave, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, Keurig, cookware, dishes, utensils, stove, and oven, and the photos show a large island with seating, pendant lights, stainless steel appliances, and bright cabinetry. It is a practical setup for guests who like to keep breakfast easy, make lunch between beach walks, or stay in for dinner after a day exploring St. Augustine.

The condo also includes air conditioning, central heat, high speed internet, Wi-Fi, cable television, linens, towels, an iron and board, a washer, and a dryer. Historic downtown, St. George Street, the museums, restaurants, and sightseeing tours are all part of the larger vacation. From Summer Haven you can drive north into town whenever you want the history and the shopping, then come back to a peaceful place to settle in when the day winds down.

The Area

Summer Haven has a different pace from the main St. Augustine Beach corridor. It is quieter, more natural, and more closely tied to Matanzas Inlet, the dunes, tidal water, and open coastal views. Guests looking through Summer Haven vacation rentals are usually not trying to be in the middle of the busiest beach district. They want ocean air, a calmer base, and easy access to the southern shoreline.

For a nearby outing that fits this part of the coast especially well, Fort Matanzas National Monument is a natural choice. It pairs well with a stay near the inlet, connecting the scenery, history, and quieter southern side of St. Augustine.
