The House

The main gathering space is open and comfortable, with plenty of room for guests to settle in after a beach walk or a day exploring St. Augustine. The fully stocked kitchen includes stainless appliances, granite countertops, a blender, cookware, dishes, utensils, dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, refrigerator, toaster, and coffee maker. Bar seating for 5 and a dining table that seats 8 make it easy to serve breakfast before the beach or a casual dinner at home after sunset.

The sleeping layout works especially well for extended families and multi-household trips. The third-floor primary bedroom has a king bed, private bathroom, plenty of closet space, and a private terrace overlooking the front of the property. Just outside the primary bedroom is a relaxing loft with a gaming table and a queen sleeper sofa overlooking the living area and the ocean views. The remaining bedrooms are on the first and second floors. The second floor includes two queen bedrooms near a large bathroom. The first floor includes a king bedroom and an adjacent bedroom with two twin beds near a guest bath. After a day in town, you come back to a quieter oceanfront home at the end of the day.

The Area

The Vilano Beach location gives you a quieter coastal base while still keeping St. Augustine close. Ocean Sunrise sits in Porpoise Point, one of the most distinctive parts of Vilano, with easy access to the beach, the inlet, and the local Vilano Road area. Porpoise Point is a beautiful stretch for swimming, surfing, fishing, walking, and sandcastle building, with a quieter inlet beach nearby when you want a different view and expansive looks back toward Historic St. Augustine.
