The Dondanville Road area is the northern edge of Butler Beach, immediately south of St. Augustine Beach proper. It's residential, walkable, and quieter than the busier St. Augustine Beach pier area. Within an eight-minute walk you reach the pier, the County Pier Park, several restaurants, and the St. Augustine Beach commercial district. Within a ten- to fifteen-minute drive you reach the Lighthouse, Anastasia State Park, and historic downtown St. Augustine.
